A year that saw more than 11 million visitors was celebrated with spectacular performances and fireworks

Like the iconic towers of Lujiazui and colonial architecture on the Bund, Shanghai Disney Resort has earned its place as one of the city's unmissable landmarks. After a great year's success that saw an estimate of 11 million visitors, the theme park celebrated its first anniversary on Friday 16 June. The programme featured a spectacular light show with clips from familiar Disney films projected onto the castle and abundant fireworks to impress the crowds. Take a look here.
