Over the weekend of Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 of September, we hosted our very own Big Day Out for international families in Shanghai. The days saw parents and kids pouring into the newly developed Bund Finance Center area for a heap of fun activities. Take a look below.

At the Bund Finance Center

Our Family Day event took place against the sleek facade of the Bund Finance Center, which was designed by renowned English architects Foster + Partners and Heatherwick Studio.

Skateboarding

Kids at skateboarding company ICONX's area of the event, showing off their skills.

Our Family mascot, Mengmeng, received lots of hugs from fans and followers alike.

missoo Gelato

Parents and kids enjoyed missoo Gelato's yummy gelato scoops.

Mini Golf

Kids tried their hands at golfing on Mini Golf's portable pitches.

Med box fishing

There was also a pool full of med boxes for kids to fish and learn about basic medicine.

Pianist Chen Jie (founder of Chen Jie Music & Art Academy) performed segments from classic piano pieces for the crowd

Children posed in theatre company Little Player Theatre's provided masks.

Tennis tryout

There was also the chance for little ones to play tennis on Haoqiu Sport's mini tennis court.

Families were invited to visit the exhibitions and installations at the Fosun Foundation Art Center.
