Did you know going to Suzhou it’s just about 25 minutes’ journey by fast train from Shanghai? That shows it’s really closer than you think. Known as the “Venice of the East” because of its intricate waterways, Suzhou is full of historical delights but it’s also a very modern city.
Little wonder, it’s a tourist attraction to foreigners. In order to let foreign visitors in Suzhou show off their impression of the city through photography and videos, Time Out Shanghai has organized a photography and video contest titled “Suzhou in my foreign eyes”.
